Sanded Sponge Medium Density Backing Pad ~200mm (8 inch)

The Sponge backing Pads are used for sanding Surfboards, SUP's, Kiteboards and Windsurfers. Perfectly made to sand the board, also fit between the fins and tight areas. Medium sponge density (30mm thickness) gives you control and cushion while sanding the difficult areas. Hook backed so all your 8 inch velcro (looped) backed sanding discs fit perfectly 

The pads have 14mm METAL thread for longer wearing use  (which is used in Australia and majority of the world please check your sander or polisher for thread size before buying as some USA sander/polishers  have different thread sizes)

These pads are a Meduim density pad which are made for:

• Will allow for minimal swirls and allow feathering
• Provides enough give (flex) to sand the rails
• Concaves without leaving swirls
• Ideal for the fast and effective removal of resin (and resin lumps) 
• Can be used for Shaping blanks 
• We have matching discs from 80 grit right up to 600 grit to fit this size pad
